Description:

After being informed about the basics of Triggerpoint therapy, in this part of the Triggerpoint sequenceof, we wil focus on the treatmenton the phenomenon of Myofascial Trigger Points (MPT) in the schoulder, uppper- and lower arm region 


Target groups: sports and wellness massage therapists with a recognized diploma and least 1 year of demonstrable experience in sports and/or wellness.


Entry level: To participate in this course, you require;


Client population: Clients with recurring pain complaints in the schoulder, uppper- and lower arm.


Goals:

After the course, the participant;

  • is able to diagnose, treat and evaluate trigger points of the lower and upper back, abdomen and neck and head areas
  • is able to construct, result-oriented exercises and self-treatment possibilities to influence trigger points as selfcare.


Study load: 12 hours.

Number of contact hours: 8 hours 

Number of selfstudy hours: 4 hours

Number of contact days:

  • 2 meetings of 4 hours for the workshops,


PhysEducation Certificate:: Yes.

Accreditation: Applied for at NGS(Netherlands) in combiunation withj an exam
